Happy New Year 2020
Londoners welcomed in 2020 with what has become dubbed as The London Smoke Display, as without the slightest of breezes in the air, there was nothing to take the smoke away

Happy New Year 2019
Every Photographer has a list of must get images. Images they just have to get, no matter what it takes, and no matter how long it takes to get it. On the 1st of January 2000, I saw an image of the London fireworks display not unlike this one of the front pages of one of the newspapers and it has stuck in my head ever since. 19 years later I was able to get my own version. I’ve shot the London Fireworks display from a few good locations now and it has always been spectacular. But NOTHING compares to being front and center and being engulfed in the light from the most awesome visual spectacle I have ever witnessed. For me, this is a bucket list shot well and truly ticked
Happy New Year 2018
I first saw this view over 3 years ago when I was looking for locations to shoot the New Year’s Fireworks display from. This beautiful composition of London's amazing architecture was breath-taking. When I saw this vista I could visualise in my mind’s eye the image I wanted to make. You will often hear about creative people’s pre-visualisation - this was mine. I could see it, smell it, and taste it, and most importantly I Imagined it.

If I was going to take one camera, it may as well be the best camera in the world, The Hasselblad H6D 100c is an incredible piece of kit. I am and will forever be very grateful for the team at Hasselblad UK for putting their faith in me.
Happy New Year 2016
